Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education organized Seven Day NSS Camp From 04/03/2017 to 10/03/2017 in the adopted village, Malakpur. This special camp was organized with the help of Panchayati Raj department Malakpur. The main objective of the seven day camp was to promote the importance of digitalization in rural sectors of the state. This project has been aimed to complete by 2019. The success of the programme is the dream of the present prime minister of India Mr. Narender Modi. Mr. Surinder Singh addressed the villege people and students about various services activities undertaken during the period of stay in the village. Mr. Surinder told the students and people of village about the digital India campaign. The students and villagers got an opportunity to learn how web technology can be used. He gave information to the students and the villagers about the digital India which is launched by the Indian government on 1 st first July 2015 to improve online infrastructure as well as making the India digitally empower country in the field of technology. The aim of launches this campaign is to provide Indian citizen electronic government services by reducing the paper work. It is very efficient and effective technique which will save the time and man power to great extend. He also Explain the three elements of the digital India those are like creation of digital infrastructure, digital literacy and delivering services all over the country. Principal of DSGCE Dr. Kompal Wadhawan appreciated the volunteers and staff for their hardwork and thanks the village authorities for their support and coperation. The session concluded by vote of thanks proposed by NSS programme officer Dr. Surina Sharma.
