The seven day NSS camp was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Sardar Gurpreet Singh, Chairman, Universal Group of Institutes, Ballopur, and Guest of Honour Dr. D. P. Singh, Executive Director, Universal Group of Institutes, Sh. Hakam Singh, Sarpanch, Village Ballopur and Dr. (Mrs.). Shashi P. Negi, Officiating Principal Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education. 100 volunteers participated in this NSS camp. Different activities were performed in NSS camp like information about literacy rate, percentage of employed villagers, immunization of the children, awareness about AIDS, dengue, female feticide, public sanitation and child health and nutrition.
