Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education in collaboration with Universal College of Arts, Commerce and Science celebrated International Day of Biological Diversity on May 22, 2015. During the event the expert talk on biological diversity delivered by Dr. Vishal Sharma, Associate Professor, Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh. Dr. Sharma laid emphasize to conserve the biological diversity, especially plants for sustainable development of mankind. He also made the students aware about worst effect of declining biodiversity.

Dr. L.K. Attri, Dean UCACS concluded the session and apprised the audience about the importance of the day. Dr. Kompal, Principal of DSGCE thanked Dr. Sharma for delivering such educative lecture. At the end of the event, vote of thanks was extended by Dr. Gaurav Sachar Dean DSGCE.
