“Hindi Bharat ki Bhasha Hai, Hindi Bharat Ki Asha Hai”.This was the theme line of the day and the occasion was celebration of Hindi Diwas. A function was organized in the campus of Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of education. The function was inaugurated with the prayer. Dr. Kompal Wadhwan, the vice principal of the college shared her views with all students and faculty members of the college. She said that Hindi Language is second language spoken by majority of people all over the world and Chinese Language is the first popular language. A poem recitation competition was organized. Many students participated and recited self composed poems in the competition. B.Ed students gave speeches on the importance of Hindi. Dr. Surina Sharma explained the origin of different words of Hindi language. She also explained the importance of Hindi to the students and emphasized the need of Hindi Language as a national Language. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were bagged by Amandeep (B.Ed), Neha (B.Ed) and Sandhya (ETT) respectively in poetry and First prize bagged by Avinash (ETT1). At the end, Ms Karuna mittal thanked all present.
