International Ozone Day was celebrated at D.S.G.C.E with full zeal and enthusiasm. Celebration started by presenting bouquet to Dr. Kompal Wadhawan Principal D.S.G.C.E. Poster making competition on theme “Ozone Protection” was held. A quiz contest was held in which four teams participated. Students also share their views on the causes and remedies on ozone depletion and its control. Prizes were distributed by the Principal to the winners of quiz contest; poster making and declamation contest. At the end Principal Mam congratulated the teacher educators and students to celebrate this major day and had special emphasis on understanding the reasons and issues for ozone depletion .Mr. Ravinder  the organiser of the event advised all to take necessary precautions and measures to cut the percentage of Chloro Floro Carbons so that ozone layer could be protected by their harmful effects.  Ms. Pooja clarified the relevance behind celebrating this day.
