Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education, Ballopur celebrated the birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji on 28th Sep, 2015 in the college campus. The function was started with the Morning Prayer by the college students.Dr. Gaurav Sachar welcomed the students and faculty members. He also paid his tributes to Saheed Bhagat Singh Ji and said that he was the real son of the country. In his speech, he said the youth should give up drugs and should follow a path which will lead the nation towards progress. Students sang songs” kar chale hum fida, jaano-tann sathio, ab tumhare hawale watan sathio”.Students also sang self composed poems and participated in speech competition. Students of ETT highlighted the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji in her speech.  One of B.Ed student sang “Mere Rang De Basanti Chola”. Alok, B.Ed student got the first prize in song and Avinash (ETT1) bagged first prize in speech. Sukhmeet (B.Ed) got first prize in peom.The function was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Kompal Wadhwan.
