Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education organised a visit to Old Age Home, Sec 15 Panchkula which is managed by Red Cross Society Distt. Pkl. Haryana on 1st Oct 2015 on the occasion of Senior Citizen Day. Students of DSGCE collected the donation from whole campus of UGI and showed the grace of their awareness about the good social cause. Honourable Chairman Dr. Gurpreet Singh of UGI gave his best wishes to the students and teachers for their efforts and visit. Principal Dr. Kompal Wadhawan greets and blesses the students for their efforts and initiates their visit with great motivation and zeal.
Organiser of the visit Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Ms. Pooja and Mr. Mohit Bhardwaj and students cut the cake with senior citizen at old age home and also distributed the blankets, fruits, juice and biscuits to them and organised various funny and joyful games for them. They shared their Ideas, views and feeling with them and take their most precious and heartfelt blessing and spent a quality time with them. This visit must have proved to enlighten the respect and sense of care, love and affection for our elders in the pupil teachers of our college.
