Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education, Ballopur celebrated Ramdas jayanti on 9th October, 2015 in the college campus. Ms. Simerjit kaur welcomed the participants. She told the history that Shri Guru Ramdas Ji is known as fourth guru of Sikhism. He also established the Amritsar city. He composed 679 hymns in varying musical measures. Guru Ramdas sahib composed beautiful bani called “Laavan” about the meaning of marriage to a Sikh couple effectively.

A speech competition and poster making competition was organised in the college campus. Students of M.Ed and B.Ed participated in it. At the end, Ms. Karuna Mittal gave a vote of thanks to all present.
