On the concluding day of 7 Days NSS camp at Malakpur village, under the guidance of programme officers Ms. Aarti Bhatt and Dr. Surina Sharma, the NSS volunteers organized valedictory function in Gurudwara Imli Sahib at village Malakpur. The function was presided over by Dr. Kompal Wadhawan, Principal of the College. In her key note address, she emphasized on the contribution of the youth to be more important and responsible for the growth of the society. Shri. N. K Sharma, MLA Derabassi, was the chief guest on the occasion. Sh. Charanjeet Singh, Sarpanch village Malakpur was the guest of Honour. Shri N. K Sharma, congratulate the NSS volunteers and in his address said that NSS camp is the best platform for the youth to with which they come to about the lifestyle of the people of rural area and can also acknowledge and help in solving the problem faced by people of rural area.

He congratulated the Dr. Kompal, Principal DSGCE and the Programme officer of the college for such a great effort. NSS volunteers also carried a Tree Plantation Drive in which a tree was also planted by Shri N.K.Shrarma. Winners of Talent hunt competition were facilitate with prizes by Dr. Kompal, Principal of the college and Sh. Charanjeet Singh,  Sarpanch Village Malakpur. The programme concluded with vote of thanks given by Ms. Aarti Bhatt NSS Programme Officer and thanked Sarpanch Sh. Charanjeet Singh and then the members of the village for such support and cooperation. The seven days NSS camp ended with National Anthem.
