Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education in co-ordination with Guru Nanak Dev Senior Secondary School, Dharamgarh, Lalru organized a rally on the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” on dated 23rd July, 2016 (Saturday). It was initiated by Teacher Educator Mr. Satish Kumar and Principal of the school Sardar Amarjit Singh at 11:00 am. Total number of the students who participated in this rally were 26 from the DSGCE and 45 students from GNDSS School along with pupil. Teachers and Staff members with full enthusiasm.
Students carring the placards with theme of the rally and covered the streets of the village Dharamgarh. People of that village got excited and rushed towards the rally to join this major issue called "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao".
Made aware the villagers regarding and breathing girl child without any discrimination the female foeticide and we should allow the girl child to come in this world and to live life like a boy child. Stationary items were distributed among needy students. Pupil Teachers donated sharpeners, pencils, colours, books and other stationary items among the students. The Principal of the school appreciated and congratulate the students of the college and schools for successful rally and fulfilling the needs of needy ones.
