Faculty of Divya Shiksha Gurukul college of Education in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club of the college conducted a “BLOOD DONATION” camp on 7th April, 2015 on the occasion of ‘World Health Day’. All the students, faculty and staff members participated voluntarily in the camp. In total, 82 units of blood were collected. This camp helped students in getting awareness about their social responsibilities and showed enthusiastic participation for the same. The Camp started at 10.00 a.m. and went up to 2:30 p.m. A team of doctors headed by Dr. Ravneet Kaur from the Department of Transfusion Medicine of Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh carried out the blood collection.
