As a regular of feature of the college activities, an extension lecture was organized by peace club of Divya Shiksha Gurkul College of Education on the occasion of International Day of Peace. Mr. Sandeep Joshi, Renowned Cartoonist from The Tribune was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Pramod Sharma, Coordinator Yuvsatta was the speaker of the day. The lecture was attended by the staff and students of B.Ed. Mr. Pramod Sharma highlighted the relevance of the peace in the life and said - A cartoonist’s job is crucial as well as challenging, whether it involves making a visual comment on the socio-political scenario,
conveying public interest messages or simply raising the laughs. He emphasised that in order to promote peace one should develop creativity. Honorable chairman Dr. Gurpreet Singh emphasized that as teachers we all should promote peace so as to make this world a better place to live. He also praised the students and staff of the college for taking great interest in an important topic related to the future.
